Front Chin Spoiler Detachment

Summary

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes. The front chin spoiler may detach during transit.

Remedy

Dealers will install pop-rivets to properly secure the spoiler, free of charge. Newmar plans to mail owner notification letters on June 27, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.

Incorrect Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) Label

Newmar’s Number: 631 RSB

Summary

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label may state an incorrect weight value. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims – Other Than Passenger Cars.”

Remedy

Dealers will replace the labels, free of charge. Newmar plans to mail owner notification letters on June 27, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.

Hydronic Heating System Wiring

Newmar’s Number: 626 RSB

Summary

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes. The hydronic heating system wiring may be incorrectly connected to constant 12V power, which can cause the hydronic heating system to unintentionally activate.

Remedy

Dealers will repair the wiring, and disconnect the hydronic heating system from constant 12V power, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 20, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.

ThermaHeat Tank Pad Failure

NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V015000

Newmar’s Number: 622 RSB

Summary

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.

Remedy

Dealers will install a new water tank heating pad, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 6, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.
